You might have tried all the diet fads and workouts from Pinterest, but you don’t see your waist or tummy getting any smaller. It’d be great if it could be so simple and you could achieve it in a few months…
What if we tell you it really IS simple? We have 5 secrets to share with you to help you achieve the results you dream of:
1) Know your calorie intake
Don’t fall into the trap of constantly eating acai bowls and hoping you’d lose weight. Unbeknownst to many, some ‘healthy’ food actually contains a lot of calories that will definitely add up.
We’d recommend reading the nutritional label to know exactly how much you’re consuming. From there, you can plan out healthier meals for you to eat!
2) Being active for 30 minutes daily
You don’t always have to go to the gym to clock in 30 minutes on the treadmill!
A 30-minute walk around the neighbourhood will do just fine too. Or if you prefer being at home, whip out your yoga mat and YouTube and follow a 30-minute yoga routine.

Being active doesn't mean you always have to hit the gym! It can be done anywhere, at any time! But be sure to do it regularly.
3) Getting ample sleep
Sleep does affect your weight change!
We’re sure you're familiar with that sluggish feeling when you’re lacking sleep. That means you have lesser energy and motivation to go for your workout.
Also, the lack of energy leads your body to overcompensate by signalling your brain to eat more food!
And that is why getting at least 8 hours of sleep is so important to maintaining your weight.
4) Drinking more water
Surprise: Water is actually an appetite suppressant!
The more you drink, especially before your meals, the less you’ll consume because you’ll feel fuller.
But here's the thing: You shouldn't be drinking your favourite bubble tea from Gong Cha or Koi even though it does make you feel fuller. That's counterproductive!
If you hate how plain water tastes like, add in slices of lemon/mint/strawberries. It’s a game-changer and you’ll keep wanting to have more.
Coconut water isn't a replacement for water either!
5) Waist train daily
