The Struggle To Lose Weight
Wati put on weight after marriage. Her weight leapt by 10kg from 110kg to 120kg, her heaviest.
She felt disappointed in herself seeing the numbers on the weighing scale jump. Although she has been trying to lose weight over the years, she only managed to shed 5kg over 3 years. She felt even more dejected and disheartened after realising this.
Pain in her knees made her struggle worse as it prevented her from doing any strenuous exercises.

Waist Training For The First Time
Wati got herself her first waist trainer from Waistlab in December 2020, determined to achieve her weight loss goal. She also started on an intermittent ketogenic diet to support her journey.
Discipline is crucial when it comes to waist training. She cycles or treks at least thrice a week and makes sure she waist trains while doing it. On days where she doesn’t exercise, she waist trains daily from morning to evening.
